A Word from our CEO, Joy Gordon

Joy Gordon Construction, founded in 2013, is a company built on teamwork, performance, and integrity. These values inform all of our day-to-day interactions with Owners, Design Professionals, and Subcontractors.

We are greatly humbled and honored by the opportunity to work as a General Contractor in the Northwest Florida communities so dear to us.

We are thankful for everyone in our community who has supported and encouraged us in our construction endeavors. We look forward to serving and building in Pensacola and the surrounding areas for many years to come.

Who We Are

Joy Gordon Construction, LLC was founded in January 2013 by Joy Gordon-Phillips. We are a 100% woman-owned company located in the Pensacola/Cantonment area of Northwest Florida. As a General Contractor, we specialize in multiple types of commercial construction. We are licensed in Florida and Alabama and primarily work in the Florida Panhandle and Lower Alabama.

Joy Gordon-Phillips is a native of Cantonment, Florida. Following high school, she attended the University of West Florida, graduating with an Associate of Arts Degree. After transferring to Auburn University, she quickly found she had an intense passion for construction. Joy graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Building Science/Construction and a Minor in Business.

With a combined 30 years of experience in the construction industry and projects varying in cost from $50,000 to $79,000,000, Joy continues to pursue new challenges and opportunities. Joy has earned a reputation as a proven leader in construction founded on the relationships she has built in the Northwest Florida and Lower Alabama communities. War Eagle!
